Set in an idyllic fishing village in rural Ireland, against the backdrop of a strong community of integrated hard of hearing and abled hearing people, Branden, a young man in his early twenties with a hearing impairment lives with his Fisherman Father Cullen, following the death of his mother a few years previous, whom he adored.

Branden’s ambitions is hampered by his father, as Cullen is trying to live his own ambitions through his son.

This is a story of love, struggle and triumph, set entirely within a deaf community.
